Zebedee Armstrong

Zb Armstrong

Zebedee Armstrong was born in 1911 and he always lived in Thomson Georgia. He married in 1929 and had two daughters. For much of his life he worked on the local Mack McCormick farm with the cotton harvest. After the death of his wife in 1969, he began working until 1982 in the Thomson Box Factory. In 1972, he was visited by an angel who warned him that the end of the world was near. Armstrong's works, mostly painted white and with magical markings in a grid of red and black, are supposed to predict the exact date of the approaching end of the world. Armstrong spent his final years in a nursing home, no longer able to do his art, where he died in 1993
